Ferrous Sulfate Heptahydrate

Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate contains minimum of 19% Fe in its content. It is dry and odorless iron salt with a green crystal structure. Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate is produced in two types as feed quality and technical quality. 15 thousand tons/year is produced in our facility.

Main Sectors of Use

Cement contains high amounts of Chromimum element, which is very harmful for human health. Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate is used for the reduction of this element, Chromium 6.
It is used to prevent sludge formation in waste water treatment plants and as a coagulant in drinking water treatment plants.
Used in the production of chemicals such as black, yellow, red iron oxide pigment and ferric sulphate.
It is used in the textile industry as a dye stabilizer and for dyeing leather.

Provides chlorophyll development in plants by supporting acidification in alkaline soils.
Reduces grass disease, prevents moss formation and promotes plant growth.
It is one of the building blocks of the plant growing sector by containing elements such as Ferrous, Zinc, Copper, Manganese and Sulphur, which are important in the development of plants.
It is applied directly to the soil as fertilizer, through irrigation and dripping. The best example is the studies carried out in vineyards and olive cultivation.
It is the biggest factor in plant flowering, fruit growth, color formation, maturation and staying fresh for long storage after harvest.

In feed production, it is a source of trace elements necessary for the mineral needs of animals. It is the most important factor for enzymes and hormones.
