(MgSO4)

Magnesium Sulphate Anhydrate

It contains minimum 18.5% - 19.6% Mg and 32% MgO. It is in white, powder form and odorless. Magnesium Sulphate Anhydrate is produced in fertilizer quality, feed quality and technical quality. It is produced in 8 thousand tons/year in our facility.

Main Sectors of Use

Magnesium Sulphate (anhydrate) is one of the most essential substances used in the processing of refractory materials. It is used to regulate viscosity in liquid soaps, detergents and rinsing agents. In chemical laboratories it is used as a mild desiccant for organic solvents, and in the textile industry, industrial salt is used as a dye enhancer in the processing and treatment of fabrics such as cotton or linen.

It is used as a direct fertilizer in agriculture and is effective for increasing the magnesium and sulphur content in the soil. It keeps the PH value high while making plant leaves resistant to pests and diseases. Due to its high solubility, it provides an advantage in feeding the leaves.

Magnesium is the most important substance for animal health and development. In its deficiency, meadow tetany disease occurs and magnesium sulfate is used as an additive to animal feeds to prevent this condition. In addition, magnesium sulfate added to feeds regulates the nervous systems of animals and prevents muscle contractions.

It is used as a magnesium source in the formulation of plant nutrition products. Due to its low moisture content, anhydrate form is more commonly used in powder mixtures to ensure homogeneity and heptahydrate form in liquid formulations due to its solubility.
